The Lady Tiger wrestling team earned an eighth-place finish out of 50 teams at the Battle at the Katy Trail tournament in Sedalia. Sophomore Haylee Ray captured the 140-pound championship, while Lily Goetz and Bristol Sharp also placed in their brackets.
The Tiger boys basketball team closed out the Husker Classic on Dec. 12, with a dominant 60-20 win over DeLaSalle Charter School. Eleven Tigers scored as the team jumped out early and never looked back.
Tiger wrestlers finished sixth at the Lee’s Summit Holiday Tournament, highlighted by a championship run from senior Cooper Collins. The two-day event featured 25 schools and strong performances across multiple weight classes.
The Lady Tigers delivered on their home mat, earning two championships and multiple podium finishes Friday night.
