Nourishing the Community: Inside the Community Center’s Wellness Cafe
Tucked inside the Community Center, citizens will find a fully stocked Wellness Café offering everything from protein shakes to frozen yogurt. The Wellness Café is an innovative addition to the Community Center and serves as a hub for refreshment and connection.
Citizens do not need to have a membership to the Community Center in order to enjoy the Wellness Café. Located on the main floor you can’t miss it when you walk inside. We talked to the Nutrition Coach at the Community Center, Stephanie Marcum, about all the Wellness Café has to offer. She highlighted the shake of the month, miscellaneous food items and the supplements available in the Cafe, the Community Center being one of only a few places to find supplements in town.

In addition to this menu, the Café also offers some prepackaged items.
Citizens can stop by the café Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Café is closed on Sunday. Tables and chairs are set up next to the Café, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
There is something for everyone at the Wellness Café! Its unique blend of nutritious fare and a welcoming atmosphere is hard to resist.
