The site of the former Pizza Hut at 101 Crown Hill Road in Excelsior Springs is set for a significant transformation. Star Development Corporation has announced plans for a new project on the now vacant land, which will see the construction of a new two-office space building.

According to Robert de la Fuente, Vice President of Star Development Corporation, the new development aims to revitalize the land by introducing two separate office spaces. The new structure, designed to occupy the same footprint as the previous building, will provide opportunities for new businesses to establish themselves in Excelsior Springs.

The building plans reveal a modern structure with a total area of 2,504 square feet. The design accommodates two distinct office spaces, with Tenant #1 and Tenant #2 areas measuring 1,175 square feet and 1,239 square feet, respectively. The layout is focused on maximizing the use of space while providing functional areas for potential businesses.

De la Fuente mentioned that, as of now, there are no specific tenants lined up for the spaces. However, the development team is optimistic about attracting businesses that can contribute positively to the local economy. The construction is scheduled to begin soon, with an estimated project duration of 6 to 9 months, depending on weather conditions. The goal is to complete the project by August 2024.

This development represents a significant step in the ongoing efforts to revitalize and modernize the commercial landscape of Excelsior Springs. The new building is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the Crown Hill shopping center, opening doors for business opportunities and contributing to the city’s growth.
