Excelsior Citizen Hosts Meet the Candidates Event

Dozens of citizens attended the Meet the Candidates event that took place at Other Trails in downtown Excelsior Springs on the morning of Saturday, October 22nd. In attendance included public officials, State Representative Doug Richey, Clay County Presiding Commissioner Jerry Nolte, and Excelsior Springs City of Excelsior Springs Councilman Mark Spohn. Clay County candidates in attendance included Sherry Duffett, Jason Withington, Steve Wolcott, and Ken Jamison. Both Jay Johnson and Jo Ann Lawson’s spouses were in attendance in their place.
