Built in 1936, it features Art Deco architecture and once housed the world’s longest water bar, serving mineral water from 10 wells. Now a visitor center, it attracts tourists and offers glimpses into the past, including an original saline water pool. Efforts are underway to restore water service, revitalizing this historic gem.

Excelsior Springs High School (ESHS) opened its doors to students from across the area on April 3rd, offering them the opportunity to acquire free prom attire at its 2nd annual Prom-a-Palooza event. Organized by the ESHS Student Council (Stuco), the event proved to be a resounding success, with an array of formal wear available for attendees.
The Excelsior Citizen, a hyperlocal online news and community resource, is happy to have three talented teenagers from Excelsior Springs High School on its growing team.
