Excelsior Springs, MO–Excelsior Springs High School (ESHS) opened its doors to students from across the area on April 3rd, offering them the opportunity to acquire free prom attire at its 2nd annual Prom-a-Palooza event. Organized by the ESHS Student Council (Stuco), the event proved to be a resounding success, with an array of formal wear available for attendees.
Stuco President Paige Crowley shared that students enthusiastically responded to the event, with over 30 attendees finding dresses and accessories during the two-hour event. The event began just last year and has quickly become a special tradition, offering students a chance to obtain affordable formal attire while fostering a sense of community through community and alumni donations.
Prom-a-palooza featured a diverse selection of dresses in various colors and sizes, guaranteeing that every student could find something that suited their style and preferences. Shoes, accessories, men’s suits, and ties were also available.
The event provides students with access to free formal wear and creates a sense of inclusivity and support within the Excelsior Springs High School community. By removing financial stress, Prom Palooza ensures that all students can fully participate in one of the most memorable experiences of high school.
