Scrivener Leads Lady Tiger Golfers at Paradise Pointe, Shirkey

SMITHVILLE, Mo., Sept. 12, 2025 — The Lady Tiger golfers hit the links at Paradise Pointe Golf Club in Smithville and Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond in a pair of tournaments last week.

At Paradise Pointe’s Posse course, Excelsior Springs competed in the Oak Park Tournament, finishing with a team score of 468. Senior Gabby Scrivener led the way with an 87, placing 30th in a field of 93. Senior Ellie Lynn and freshman Allison Deere each shot 123, followed by junior Ella Edwards at 125. Gabby Vineyard of Liberty North won the tournament with a 2-under-par 70, while Raymore-Peculiar captured the team title at 325.

On Sept. 17, the Lady Tigers traveled to Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond. Scrivener carded a 44 on the front nine and a 47 on the back for a round of 91. Lynn followed with a 130, Deere posted a 133, junior Reaghan Lawrence shot 135, and Edwards rounded out the lineup with a 141. Abby Owens of South Harrison won the individual title with a 77, and St. Michael the Archangel claimed the team championship with 344.
