Building Partnerships and Celebrating Milestones

The Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center construction program recently had an enriching experience visiting the J.E. Dunn Headquarters in Kansas City. Students enjoyed a delicious lunch and participated in a Workforce Council Meeting with Ms. G.G. Owens, the council’s president. Ms. Owens encouraged the students to pursue careers in construction and to stay connected upon graduation. This visit solidified a valuable partnership between the Job Corps Center and J.E. Dunn, celebrating not only Job Corps’ 60th anniversary, but also J.E. Dunn’s 100th year!
