ESPD Raises Over $1,300 for Pink Ribbon Fund with Special Patch Sales

Excelsior Springs, MO – The Excelsior Springs Police Department (ESPD) has been raising funds for the Excelsior Springs Hospital’s Pink Ribbon Fund through the sale of limited-edition pink police patches.

The fundraising initiative, established in collaboration with the hospital, aims to assist women in the community who face financial constraints and may not be able to afford necessary cancer screenings.

Since the program’s launch, earlier this year the ESPD has raised $1,349.50 for the Pink Ribbon Fund (as of May 15, 2024). The funds go directly towards providing these essential screenings to women within the Excelsior Springs community.

A few of the pink patches are still available for $20 each at the Excelsior Springs Police Department. The department accepts cash or checks payable to the “Pink Ribbon Fund.” According to an ESPD social media post, those who donate and would like a photo with an officer can request it upon arrival at the station.
