Spring is here, and with it begins a brand new season for many of Excelsior Spring’s sports programs! Excelsior’s spring sports include baseball, golf, tennis, track and field, and women’s soccer. Get a preview of the teams and printable schedules for each sport.
This past Saturday, the Excelsior Springs Tigers looked to return to championship form in their Baseball Jamboree. The Jamboree consisted of three-inning games against St. Michael the Archangel (SMA) and Raymore-Peculiar.
In the class 4 district 15 tournament, Excelsior Springs’ Men’s and Women’s teams faced off against Odessa and Richmond, showcasing intense basketball action. Key players like Jake Zapata and Kinley Rogers shone, despite challenges. At the MSHSAA Wrestling Championships, Excelsior Springs showcased exceptional talent, sending seven competitors. Notably, freshmen Analese Happy and sophomore Adrian Crawley represented the women’s team, while the men’s team saw standout performances from Wyett Shipman, Cooper Collins, and Ryne Marcum, each securing medals.
