Authorities have identified Calen D. Hollis, a registered sex offender from Kansas, as the driver in the high-speed crash that sent a vehicle flying off a bluff and into the roof of the Clay-Ray Veterans Hall in Excelsior Springs. Hollis was fleeing from police at speeds exceeding 100 mph with two 13-year-old girls in the car when the wreck occurred.
