In a move to enhance local transportation and tourism, the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce has finalized the acquisition of a new-to-them chamber trolley. The purchase was made possible through an inventive financing solution involving the City of Excelsior Springs and the Excelsior Springs Community Foundation, utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
The City of Excelsior Springs is once again offering its Summer Sewer Credit program to residential customers within city limits. The program is designed to help ease the financial burden of higher water usage during the warmer months. It does not extend to commercial, industrial, or apartment entities and is designed to adjust sewer rates based on water consumption during July, August, and September.
Excelsior Springs, MO – The Excelsior Springs community is preparing to come together for the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, set for Thursday, May 2nd, at 7:00 a.m. at The Elms Hotel. Hosted by Mayor Mark Spohn and Mike Boudreaux, President of the Excelsior Springs Christian Ministerial Alliance, this event is meant to foster unity and positivity throughout Excelsior Springs. With a promising lineup, the breakfast is expected to be an inspirational gathering.
