The incident occurred Thursday morning and resulted in significant damage to all vehicles involved.
A routine patrol led to a brief but intense manhunt on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, near Mosby. According to Sarah Boyd, Public Relations Manager for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began around 12:30 p.m. when a deputy patrolling on 69 Highway at Cameron Road noticed a driver covering his face while passing the patrol car.
