Strengthening Families Sep 2025When: This is a 7-week class meeting Tuesday evenings from September 9th-October 21 from 5:30-8:00p.m.
Where: Excelsior Springs Community Center
Details: The class is intended for parents/caregivers and their 10-14 year-old children, however children a year
or so beyond those ranges are welcome to attend also. Free childcare at the Community Center Childwatch is
provided for younger siblings. A catered dinner is provided for all family members each week from 5:30-6:00.
Parents and Youth participate in separate sessions from 6-7 and then a combined family session from 7-8. The
classes, dinner, and childcare are all provided free of charge through grant funding and community partnerships.
