Excelsior Springs, Mo. (Jan. 26, 2026) — The Clay County Election Board of Commissioners officially launched its 2026 Voter Registration Drive today, Monday, January 26, bringing multiple opportunities for Excelsior Springs-area residents to register to vote or update their voter information throughout the week.
The voter registration drive runs January 26–30. It is part of a broader effort to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday by honoring one of the nation’s most fundamental rights: the right to vote. Election officials say the goal is to encourage civic participation by making voter registration simple, accessible, and convenient for eligible residents.
This year’s drive is being conducted as a paperless voter registration drive, using online voter registration access through QR codes. Eligible voters can securely register or update their voter registration information using their own mobile devices. Trained election judges will be on-site at each location to answer questions and assist voters throughout the process.
