DESCRIPTION:Strengthening Families Sep 2025When: This is a 7-week class meeting Tuesday evenings from September 9th-October 21 from 5:30-8:00p.m.\nWhere: Excelsior Springs Community Center\nDetails: The class is intended for parents/caregivers and their 10-14 year-old children\, however children a year\nor so beyond those ranges are welcome to attend also. Free childcare at the Community Center Childwatch is\nprovided for younger siblings. A catered dinner is provided for all family members each week from 5:30-6:00.\nParents and Youth participate in separate sessions from 6-7 and then a combined family session from 7-8. The\nclasses\, dinner\, and childcare are all provided free of charge through grant funding and community partnerships.

DESCRIPTION:This event is open to any current\, former\, or prospective swimmers age 18 and up. You do not need to be an Excelsior Springs Masters Swimming member to participate. There is just a $5 fee for non-members.\nWarm ups will be from 8:00 to 8:45 AM and the indoor pool will be available for warm ups and cool downs throughout. \nThe first event will start at 9:00 AM and we will conclude after the last event or at 11:30 AM\, whichever comes first. I anticipate finishing before 11:00 AM. \nMessage me directly with the events you would like to swim\, including which relays you would be available for\, by the end of the day on Friday\, August 8\, so I can work on the heat sheet the weekend before the time trial. I will do my best to order the events in a way that gives people as much rest as possible between theirs.
