As the wrecking balls swing into action, Excelsior Springs witnessed a remarkable perspective on the demolition of Lewis Elementary School through awe-inspiring drone footage captured by Clint Reno with Skyvuer Imagery. Videos and pictures, released earlier this week, showcase the monumental undertaking as crews begin the process of tearing down the beloved institution that has stood tall since 1951.

Demolition crews began on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Skyvuer was there to capture the beginning of what will be a very large project. The new school will be built in the same place as the old one.

Using a tilt-shift effect, Skyvuer Imagery captured video of the demolition, making it look like a toy set!
