Scrivener Leads Excelsior Springs Golf at Paradise Pointe Tournament

SMITHVILLE, Mo., Oct. 1, 2025 — The Paradise Pointe Golf Complex was the site of the 92 Highway Showdown. The Lady Tigers took on Kearney and Smithville on Oct. 1 in the three-team tournament.

Kendall Owen of Kearney took home the top individual medal by shooting a four-over-par in the nine-hole event. She birdied one hole and had four pars in her winning round of play. She was followed by her teammate, Jessi Kutch, with an eleven over par, and then Lady Tiger senior Gabby Scrivener was third with a twelve over par 48.

Scrivener started her round off with three straight double bogeys before picking up back-to-back pars on holes four and five. She bogeyed on the next two holes and finished the round with back-to-back double bogeys.

Junior Reaghan Lawrence and freshman Allison Deere each shot 66 on the day, with junior Ella Edwards shooting a 68 and senior Ellie Lynn shooting a 70.

The Bulldogs took home the team championship by shooting a combined 45 over par. Smithville was second with a team score of 73 over par, followed by the Lady Tigers’ 104 over par on the day.
