Scrivener Cards 87 to Lead Excelsior at Lawson Tournament

LAWSON, Mo., Sept. 10, 2025 — Lady Tiger senior golfer Gabby Scrivener came away with a top-10 finish at the Lawson Invitational Golf Tournament.

Scrivener put together a birdie and three pars on the front nine on her way to a score of 41, five over par. She added pars on holes 10, 11 and 15 on the back nine, finishing with a 46 for an 18-hole round of 87. The round placed her seventh in the tournament, 16 strokes behind Kindell Owen of Kearney, who won the championship.

Junior Reaghan Lawrence shot a 64 on the front nine and added a 65 on the back for a round of 129. Senior Ellie Lynn carded a 72 on the front and 69 on the back for a total of 141. Junior Ella Edwards shot 73 on the front and 77 on the back for a 150, which matched freshman Allison Deere, who scored 74 and 76 for her round of 150.

The Kearney Bulldogs took the overall team championship with a score of 354.
