Firefly Events has a calendar full of exciting events, and last Friday they proved it with their dueling pianos show! Firefly welcomed Big Time Entertainment to Excelsior and they put on a lively music filled evening for attendees.

The drinks were flowing, and Firefly even offered a small snack menu to order from. Servers walked through the crowd throughout the night so you didn’t even have to leave your table to order.

It was obvious the pianists were seasoned professionals who knew how to work a crowd and keep the night moving at a thrilling pace. They played all the classic hits like, “Sweet Caroline” and “Come Sail Away”. All throughout the show audience members could request songs as well. Requests that came with cash went to the front of the line. Requests gave us performances like Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and TLC’s “Scrubs”. Overall, the majority of the songs were classic hits mixed with some country songs.

There was even some audience participation. When the performers learned it was someone’s birthday they called her to the stage. They even gave out performance trophies to anyone who came up. It is typical for dueling piano shows to incorporate the audience and sometimes embarrass people who come to the stage.

After the show, Firefly made a post on their Facebook page thanking attendees for coming to the event. They also stated Big Time Entertainment will be coming back in August! Stay tuned to the Citizen event page for that date!
