Excelsior Springs residents showed strong engagement during the November 2024 election, with turnout rates ranging from 59% to nearly 80% across local precincts. This marks one of the highest levels of voter participation in recent years.

According to data provided by the Clay County Election Board and the Ray County Clerk, precincts in Excelsior Springs demonstrated varying levels of voter participation. Washington 03 boasted the highest turnout at 81.68%, with 883 ballots cast out of 1,081 registered voters. Conversely, Fishing River Precinct 01 had the lowest turnout, with a still-respectable 59.68% participation rate.
Across the city, the average voter turnout hovered near 70%, reflecting significant interest in this year’s ballot, which featured both high-profile state and federal races as well as state Constitutional measures.
