The game ended after five innings due to the mercy rule, thanks to a nine-run explosion in the third inning. On the mound, Courtney James and Jenna Thomas combined for a one-hit shutout, with James pitching three scoreless innings and Thomas closing out the final two innings.

The Lady Tigers will hit the road on Thursday, Sept. 26, to take on the 7-3 Smithville Warriors, looking to extend their winning streak and maintain momentum as they head deeper into the season.
