Excelsior Springs Public Transportation: What Residents Need to Know
Excelsior Springs residents have access to a reliable and affordable curb-to-curb public transportation system operated by the City, with routes designed to support riders across the community. Whether traveling to the store, a doctor’s appointment, or local events, this system helps ensure safe, equitable access to services for those who need it most.

Vehicles are equipped to accommodate mobility devices, including wheelchairs and walkers. Riders using such devices should ensure their equipment meets safety guidelines and can be secured properly.
Passengers requiring extra assistance are encouraged to bring a personal attendant, as drivers are not allowed to physically assist riders with boarding or exiting.
Passenger Guidelines
To ensure a safe and comfortable ride for all, passengers are expected to:
• Have exact fare ready
• Wear seatbelts and provide car seats for small children
• Keep personal hygiene and refrain from offensive behavior
• Avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or using tobacco
• Limit packages to what can be carried independently
• Remain seated while the bus is in motion

• Follow “No Show” policy—missing three scheduled rides may result in suspended service
Service animals are permitted with appropriate restraint. Individuals with infectious diseases or head lice will be temporarily denied service until rendered non-infectious.
Laundry and large containers must be in tied plastic bag and must fit in seat beside you, one bag per person.
