Excelsior Springs Carnival Brings Fun (and Rain?) To Town

The Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Spring Carnival this past weekend that brought joy to a lot of citizens but also humor, as many associate the Carnival with rain. Despite the rainy forecast, the Carnival was able to run both Friday and Saturday. Thursday was to be their opening day, however, due to a lack of staff to run the rides, opening was postponed to Friday.
