DESCRIPTION:Ghost of Opal Rides are a standing gravel ride on the 3rd Saturday of each month. These rides are not sponsored or supported. There will be a suggested route\, but riders should feel free to explore shorter and longer options. There is no designated ride leader. Bring a helmet\, lots of water and your climbing legs as little to no refueling opportunities exist. The purpose of these rides is to designate a time and place for interested parties to meet and enjoy the unique and scenic gravel roads surrounding Excelsior Springs. The name pays homage to the now discontinued Opal Wapoo Gravel Race previously held on these roads.

Guests are encouraged to wear their own historic tea party attire for an afternoon of tea\, treats and activities. Enjoy sweet confections\, savories\, finger sandwiches\, fruit and a variety of teas as well as learn about 19th century tea party etiquette. You and your doll’s visit begins by receiving a Victorian Calling Card inscribed with your names to be invited into the formal parlor of the family home\, just as it would have been done in the past. This one of a kind event will be held June 22nd. Tea is from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Tickets are limited and by reservation only. Ages 7 to 15 must be accompanied by their doll and a Participating Adult.
