DESCRIPTION:Ghost of Opal Rides are a standing gravel ride on the 3rd Saturday of each month. These rides are not sponsored or supported. There will be a suggested route\, but riders should feel free to explore shorter and longer options. There is no designated ride leader. Bring a helmet\, lots of water and your climbing legs as little to no refueling opportunities exist. The purpose of these rides is to designate a time and place for interested parties to meet and enjoy the unique and scenic gravel roads surrounding Excelsior Springs. The name pays homage to the now discontinued Opal Wapoo Gravel Race previously held on these roads.
