Step Back in Time & Cook Over an Open Hearth! Ever wanted to experience life in the 19th century? Now’s your chance! Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of open-hearth cooking while becoming a valued volunteer at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site!No experience? No problem! This free workshop is designed for those eager to join our Living History program but unsure where to start. We’ll teach what you need to know! What You’ll Get: Hands-on training in historic cooking techniques Who Should Attend?We’re looking for passionate volunteers who are ready to commit to at least three Living History days, including special events.
