11th Annual Get Outdoors 6.6k

Experience the beauty and tranquility of the lake trails at Watkins Mill State Park on September 28th for our 11th Annual Get Outdoors 6.6k! Whether you prefer running or walking, our certified 6.6k trail offers a peaceful journey around the 100-acre Williams Creek Lake, nestled inside the historic Watkins Mill State Park. The paved track, shaded by a canopy of well-preserved native woods, provides the perfect setting for a refreshing run. There are several resting places around the lake for those who prefer a slower pace. The race will begin at 8 AM, but we encourage you to arrive by 7 AM for check-in.
 The race package includes a 6k T-Shirt, Runners Bib, and Medal. Each entry ticket will consist of two passes for a guided Watkins Woolen Mill and House tour.
 $35 if registered by Sept. 15th (shirt included)
 $40 if registered after Sept. 15th (shirt not included)
 $45 if registered on the day of the event (shirt not included)
 Children under 5 are free; no t-shirt or race package is included.
 Children ages 5-12 may register for $30 with a complete race package.

Typically, this race is 6k around Williams Creek Lake. This year, however, we have had to extend the race by an additional .6k due to a bridge closure. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Registration information will come soon.
