Excelsior Springs Man Charged with Statutory Rape After Investigation
An investigation that began in 2021 has led to the arrest of an Excelsior Springs man accused of sexually abusing a minor. Michael Aaron Watson, 22, was taken into custody in January 2025 after authorities gathered digital evidence and testimony linking him to an illegal relationship with a juvenile. Now, as he faces multiple felony charges, a judge has refused to modify his bond, keeping him behind bars as the case moves forward.
