Citizens Turnout to Meet the Chief

With only about a month under his belt, Excelsior Springs Police Chief Gregory Dull offered a meet and greet for citizens to be introduced and get to know our new leader. The first event took place during the day on February 9th at Other Trails Coffeeshop, located in the downtown. The second event took place a week later in the evening at Excelsior Roasting Company.
Citizens of all ages turned out to welcome the chief to town. Apollo Photos, son of Moriah and Nico Photos, had a full list of questions that he wanted to ask the chief. Chief Dull told him all about his uniform and the patches that he has on them.

Jen Reynolds, owner of Excelsior Roasting Company, had baked treats prepared and on the house coffee for citizens attending. The event was a good opportunity to meet many of the officers, not just the chief!

When asked if he wanted to say any words, Chief Dull said, “Thank you, to everyone who came out and for the welcome that everyone in the community has extended to me.” If you are interested in learning more about Chief Dull, consider reading our feature on him from last month.
