The Excelsior Springs Lady Tiger golf team opened their season at the Raymore-Peculiar Scramble, fielding two teams against a competitive field of 26 schools at Hoot’s Hollow Golf Course.

In their season opener, the Tigers showed flashes of promise but were undone by Belton’s big-play ability in a 41–22 road loss. Sophomore Marques Shouse rushed for 119 yards and scored two touchdowns, while senior Gaige Carr added a fourth-quarter score. The loss puts Excelsior Springs at 0–1 heading into their home opener against Winnetonka.
