Clay County Public Health Center recently released its list of winners for the Food Safety Excellence and Pool Quality of Excellence Awards for outstanding efforts in 2023. We wanted to take this opportunity to compliment the Excelsior Springs businesses that were recognized.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) began a resurfacing project on 69 Highway, affecting traffic flow through Excelsior Springs. The project, which started on July 18, spans from 92 Highway to McCleary Road and is set to last approximately two weeks.
After a couple of cancellations due to rainy weather, the Lyrics on the Lawn series made a comeback at the Hall of Waters, with musical guests Western Hippie and Raquelitas Mexican Food.
What started as a last-minute interview has turned into a 19-year career at the Good Samaritan Center for Excelsior Springs, Missouri resident Jennifer Chappel. She was at the right place, at the right time when she took on the job as Case Worker. Hoping for an interview on the last day, the process felt like a “calling” for Chappel.
