Excelsior Springs High School held its annual Fine Arts Night a showcase of student talent and creativity on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. The Performing Arts Center was filled with colorful and vibrant art from the foyer to the stage.
In a whirlwind of strikes, spares, and turkeys, the Excelsior Springs Tigers High School Bowling Team showcased their resilience at the State Championship held at Aaron’s Family Fun Center in Belton, Missouri. Led by coach Jerry Ferrel Jr., bowlers Brody Hurla, Olivia Smith, Brighton Hibschle, Dylan Carter, and Quinnlynn Davis aimed to outscore their opponents and stay competitive.
The Excelsior Springs community came together on Thursday, May 2nd, for the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, fostering unity and positivity within the city. Hosted by Mayor Mark Spohn and Mike Boudreaux, President of the Excelsior Springs Christian Ministerial Alliance, the event at The Elms Hotel drew a crowd seeking inspiration and connection.
