The Excelsior Springs varsity volleyball team put up a strong fight in their matchup against North Kansas City on Thursday, September 5, 2024, but ultimately fell in three sets. The Tigers kept the pressure on the Hornets, especially in the final two sets, but North Kansas City emerged victorious with scores of 25-13, 25-23, and 25-23.
The Excelsior Springs girls’ tennis team returned to winning form on Thursday with a commanding 6-1 victory over Raytown at home. After a tough loss earlier in the week, the Tigers rallied in both singles and doubles play, demonstrating solidity and perseverance throughout the match.
