Piccadilly Gala Raises $29,000 for All-Ability Park

The 2025 Piccadilly Gala “Down & Derby for Our Parks” was held on April 5, 2025 at The Montgomery Event space in Excelsior Springs.  This year’s theme “Down & Derby for Our Parks” featured Kentucky Derby styled table decorations, games, prizes and drinks.  Over two hundred ladies participated in the Piccadilly auction and raised over $29,000 in one evening!

The money raised will go toward helping to create an all-abilities park, “Boundless Backyard” off of Milwaukee Street. This area of town needed a public park within walking distance for several neighborhoods and will feature elements to engage individuals of all ages and abilities in a safe outdoor space.
