Excelsior Springs Community Center Update

Excelsior Springs Community Center Special Projects Coordinator Jesse Hall sent an update on the progress taking place on the outside expansion to the Center.
This week
1. Deck steel set, as well as three concrete pours.
2. Spillway (Rip Rap) and final dam prep took place at Powell Lake.
3. Final trench drain set on deck and footing poured.
4. Parking lot extension excavation continued.
Next week
1. Final deck pour is scheduled for Tuesday.
2. Concrete between trench drains and dome footings will be completed.
3. Dome entryway and completion of dome footing will take place.
4. Topsoil will be spread at Century Park. Seeding will begin.
5. Steel will continue to be set outside dome footings in preparation for additional concrete.
6. Final third party inspection has been scheduled for the dam at Powell Lake.
